Text tutorial[2]

  1. Empty two Faber-Castell Textliner or Slim Permanent marker barrels, removing their noses and backplugs. Retain two 9.6 cm barrels.

  2. Cut a 1 cm centre spacer from a third matching barrel. Empty a Lil Hands barrel and retain a 4–4.5 cm connector; the creator uses 4 cm.

  3. For each G-Spec ballpoint grip, keep its front half and the rear half of its rear half. Discard the middle quarter. The source diagram marks these retained sections as 2.4 cm and 1.2 cm.

  4. Prepare each SuperGrip with its smooth portion and two adjoining stripes, leaving six stripes for filler. Cut two 3-stripe Anyball sections.

  5. From each G-Spec ballpoint, retain its plastic tip and 1.9 cm of the front tube. Screw each tip onto its tube section.

  6. Slide the centre spacer onto the Lil Hands connector and join both marker barrels. Insert a tip package into each outer end.

  7. At each outer end, fit the short rear G-Spec grip section, then the smooth SuperGrip section with its two stripes toward the barrel.

  8. Fit three Anyball stripes around the plastic tip, inside the SuperGrip. Fit four SuperGrip filler stripes around the plastic tip, inside the Anyball, to remove play.

  9. Optional: add an Airfit Jell ring above the smooth SuperGrip lip.
  10. Slide the retained front G-Spec grip half over the assembly. Repeat at the other end.
