K7 Hybrid

The K7 Hybrid is a single sided mod made by iMatt. This mod is a hybrid between a SEVEN g3 and a KUzu G3.

Construction

Parts needed

List from UPSB v3:

• 1x G3 (all parts)
• 1x Signo DX (grip and tip)
• 1x Signo Broad (grip and tip)
• 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (tip)
• 1x Pilot Hi-Tec-C (tip)
• 1x Hyperjell (cap and grip)
• 1x Dong-A Anyball (grip)
• 1x Japanese Jimnie (cap)
• Optional: 3x Penwish rings

Preparation

1. Remove the clip of the Jimnie cap.
2. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
   

   

   
   
3. Cut 0.9 cm of Hyperjell grip.
4. Cut 1 cm and 0.3 cm of Signo Broad grip.

Assembly

Front side

1. Stack the Hi-Tec-C tip on the plastic G3 tip, then stack the Signo tip onto the Hi-Tec-C tip (add Teflon tape between each tip to stabilize the assembly)..
   

   

   
   
2. Add 0.9 cm of Hyperjell and 1 cm of Signo Broad grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
3. Add two wraps of Vinyl tape on the ungripped part of the G3 front (should stop at the base of the Signo tip).
   

   

   
   
4. Add the Signo DX grip on the front of the G3 barrel.

Cap side

1. Put the Signo tip onto the HGG tip (using Teflon tape if needed), then put both tips inside the Japanese Jimnie cap.
   

   

   
   
2. Put 0.3 cm of Signo Broad grip then the remaining Hyperjell inside the Japanese Jimnie cap.
   

   

   
   
3. Add tape on the G3 body then connect it to the Jimnie cap.
