Uni-Ball Signo

From Fen Spinner Wiki

Uni-Ball Signo is a gel pen series produced by Uni-Ball. There are many variations, but "Signo" is commonly used to refer to any of the gel pens that share the same metal tip as the Signo UM-100 model, such as the Signo DX UM-151 and Signo Gel Grip UM-151S.

Variants

Gripless

Signo UM-100

Signo UM-100

A gripless gel pen with a clear barrel. Similar to the gripless Pilot G1 variants, with a small cap. Has a standard Signo tip.

Signo UM-120

Same as a UM-100 aside from a slightly different cap with clip. Standard Signo tip and no grip.

DX Gripped

Signo DX UM-151

Signo DX UM-151s

The most commonly referred to Signo pen for modding, with a standard Signo tip and a unique dimpled grip. Available in many bright grip colors, making it appealing to pen modders, but not in white. Standard Signo tip.

Signo Gel Grip UM-151S

A similar variant of the DX UM-151, with a partially printed barrel like a Signo Broad. Only available in black, blue and red grip colors. Standard Signo tip.

Others

Signo Broad UM-153

Signo Broad UM-153

Has a large, clear cap that entirely covers the grip unlike the others. The grip is smooth and not dimpled like UM-151 and UM-151S grips. Grips come in black, white, blue, blue-grey, green, red, silver and gold with cap clips matching the color. Standard Signo tip.

Signo 207 Impact RT

Retractable unlike the others, shares nothing in common with the rest of the Signo lineup. Has a unique metal tip that is larger and heavier, and a smooth black grip that tapers.

Signo RT UMN-103/Signo Knock RT

Variety of Signo RT UMN-103 colors

Previously branded as the Signo Knock RT, the Signo RT UMN-103 features a smooth, slightly tapered grip that has historically been used for Grip Cut mods. The retractable pen is similar to the G2, but the barrel and rest of the pen is not usable as a substitute. The grips come in both opaque and tinted translucent colors.

There is a new version of the Signo Knock with a long grip that covers the entire front. The shape of the grip is not particularly useful, so Signo Knock is used to refer to the old version and the modern RT UMN-103 only.
