The Lakubo Jell is a mod invented by Ryo.
The mod was popularized by Jeb spinner Ayatori when he used it in both WT07 and WC08. It is also commonly called the "Ayatori mod."
Construction
Parts needed
Parts list from Penspinning.fr[1]
- 1x Uni-Ball Lakubo (Everything except inktube)
- 2x Uni-Ball Signo(tips)
- 1 Uni-Ball 0.7(grip)
- 1x Hyperjell / Jimnie Jell (cap and grip)
Additional items
- 1/2/3 inserts (One for the body, one under the gripcut and one inside the cap) (Optional)
Text tutorial
- Cut and smooth the Hyperjell or Jimnie Jell cap clip.
- Open the Lakubo and remove its ink tube.
- Add an insert inside the barrel if desired, then screw the backplug into place.
- Optionally cut a decorative pattern into the 0.7 grip.
- Screw a Signo tip onto the Lakubo front.

- Optionally wrap an insert around the Lakubo grip, securing it with clear tape.

- Fit the 0.7 grip over the Lakubo grip and any insert.
- Optionally wrap an insert around the Hyperjell or Jimnie Jell grip.

- Place the second Signo tip inside the cap, followed by the Hyperjell or Jimnie Jell grip.

- Fit the Lakubo backplug into the grip inside the prepared cap. Add a few turns of tape around the backplug as needed to secure the cap.
