Satake 'RYO' Ryo was a JEB competitive spinner and pen modder. He was famous in the early pen spinning community for creating the highly popular mods Dr. KT, Lakubo Jell and Ryo Cheat Comssa.
Along with Bonkura and SEVEN at the time, RYO was one of the early spinners to appear on television in Japan. He had also participated in the Pen Spinning World Tournament 2007, making it to the 2nd round. The year after, he also participated in the Asian Cup 2008 for the JEB team, coming 4th place out of 8 communities.
History
Born sometime between 1992-1993, he lived in Higashiōmi, Shiga Prefecture at the time he was active in the pen spinning community. He originally learnt his first pen spinning tricks from his elementary school teacher, which would have meant he had started spinning in 2004 or before, making him a 3 year spinner by the time of World Tournament 2007. After the creation of Aysh's ペン回し資料室 (Pen Spinning Reference Room) in 2004, RYO created a website of his own called WLPS (We Love Pen Spinning).
