Construction
Parts needed
List from Penmodding.pm :[1]
- 1x G3 (barrel, grip, plastic tip, and rubber stopper in the cap)
- 1x Signo DX (tip and grip)
- 1x Pilot Frixion Colors (cap)
- 2x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (2 tips and 1 grip)
- 1x Supergrip Ballpoint (grip and tip)
Additional Items
- Tape
- An insert
Text tutorial[2]
Preparation
- Cut 1 cm and 1.6 cm of Signo DX grip.
- Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the round and square bumps.
- Cut the G3 grip vertically.
Assembly
Front side
- Stack the tips in this order: G3 tip, Supergrip tip (with G3 rubber stopper), and Signo tip.
- Fit the 1.6 cm Signo grip section onto the G3 front, then cover the tip stack with the whole SuperGrip grip, with its flat section facing outward.
Cap side
- Remove the plastic piece inside the Frixion cap, keeping its rubber piece.
- Put one HGG tip into the Frixion Colors cap, followed by the HGG grip. Insert the second HGG tip into that grip, then roll up the lengthwise-cut G3 grip and place it inside.
- Add tape on the G3 body, then connect it to the Frixion cap.
- Put 1 cm of Signo DX grip on the Frixion cap.
