The 400¥ G3 is a personal mod made by FPSB modder, VoreTex. The mod's name was based on the price of the parts in Japan.
Construction
Parts needed
List from the pm.pm[1]:
- 2x G3 (barrel, grip, backplug, and plastic tip)
- 1x Signo DX (tip and grip)
- 2x Pilot Supergrip.G (cap and front part)
- 1x Pentel e.ball (grip and clicker)
Additional Items
- Tape
- An insert
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the clip of the Supergrip.G cap.
- Cut the screw thread of the Supergrip.G front part.
- Cut the Signo DX grip at the end of the 4th dimple.
- Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
Assembly
Front side
- Stack the parts like this: E.ball clicker (big side), G3 plastic tip, and Signo grip. Wrap it in tape.
- Put the grips on the G3 front in this order: Signo DX (smaller section) and Eball (striped side first). The Eball grip should cover the tip stack.
Cap side
- Wrap some tape around the G3 backplug, then put it on the Supergrip.G cap.
- Add the longer section of Signo DX grip on the Supergrip.G cap.
- Put the Supergrip.G front part into its cap.
- Add tape on the G3 body then connect it to the Supergrip.G cap.
