Construction of VAING*

Text tutorial

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the Hyperjell cap.
  3. Cut 2.8cm of Hyper Jell grip.
  4. Cut 8mm of the Signo grip.
  5. Cut 4 rings of Anyball grip.
  6. Cut a 9mm part of flat G3 grip.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 9mm part of flat G3 grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tip on the G3 front: Signo tip onto the G3 tip.
  3. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full HGG grip (ring side first).
Cap side
  1. Put 2.8cm of Hyperjell grip inside the RSVP grip (Leave ~9mm hanging).
  2. Cover the visible part of the Hyperjell grip with the cut Signo grip.
  3. Put the assembly inside the Hyperjell cap (side with Signo grip first).
  4. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 body and connect it to the Hyperjell cap.
  5. Add 4 rings of Anyball on the Hyperjell cap.

Preparation

  1. Cut 2x 2 blocks of Anyball grip.
  2. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  3. Cut the D1k grip to 7 blocks.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the Rubber part of the Frixion cap inside the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tips in this order: plastic G3, Signo, and g1.
  3. Put 2 Anyball grip on the g3 barrel, then add the Lakubo grip (flat side first).
  4. Push the tip stack inside the Lakubo grip.
Cap side
  1. Put a G3 grip into another one
  2. stack the 3 HGG tip (wrap some tape around it) and put it inside the Frixion cap.
  3. Push the small grip in the frixion cap.
  4. Put both G3 grips inside the frixion cap.
  5. Connect the G3 body to the Frixion cap.

Preparation

  1. Cut 5 blocks of Anyball grip.
  2. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  3. Cut the Hybrid fine grip to 1cm.
  4. Cut 3 cm from the front of the CT barrel (tip included).
  5. Cut the section with stripes from the flat part of the G3 grip.
  6. Cut G3 grip with the square vertically two times (one part should have all 4 squares)
  7. Turn the Earphone piece inside out, then cut the cylindrical part from the dome.
  8. Cut the dome part of the HGR backplug.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put 1cm of Hybrid fine grip then the Tect ring.
  2. Roll the square part of G3 grip and put it inside the G3 front. Screw back the G3 tip.
  3. Stack the Hybrid fine tip onto the G3 tip, then stack the HGG tip on the Hybrid fine tip.
  4. Cover the visible portion of G3 front with the Signo DX grip.
Cap side
  1. Remove the plastic part in the Frixion cap, and push the HGR backplug inside.

  2. Put the visible HGR backplug part inside the G3 back.
  3. Put the stripe section of the G3 grip on the CT part.
  4. Put the cylinder section of the earplug piece on the CT part.

  5. Put the HGG tip on the earplug piece of CT part then push the assembly inside the Frixion cap
  6. Connect the G3 back to the Frixion cap.
  7. Add the 5 stripes of Anyball grip on the Frixion cap.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the Signo DX grip to 9mm.
  3. Cut 1mm of the Jimknock grip (Flat part).


Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the rubber stopper of the G3 cap inside its plastic tip.
  2. Stack the tip in this order: G3 (screwed on the body), Jimknock then Signo.
  3. Add the grip in this order: 9mm of Signo DX, then the Lakubo grip (flat side first) (tipstack should be covered).
Cap side
  1. Fold the G3 grip over itself (lengthwise) and put it into the Jimknock grip.
  2. Empty the Frixion cap.
  3. In this order, put inside the Frixion cap: Hitec tip and Jimknock grip
  4. Put the equivalent of 5 dimple of length of DX grip onto the Frixion cap.
  5. Connect the G3 body to the Frixion cap.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the Jimnie cap.
  3. Cut 2.9cm of Hyper Jell grip.
  4. Cut 5mm of the other Hyper Jell grip.
  5. Cut 1 ring of KILAT Oil-based pen.
  6. Cut 1.1 cm of Ohto Needlepoint grip.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 1.1cm of Needlepoint grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tip on the G3 front following this order: G3 (screwed on the G3 front), HGR, G3 rubber part, and Hitec C.
  3. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full HGG grip (ring side first).
Cap side
  1. Put the Frixion rubber part inside the HGG tip.
  2. Roll/fold the G3 grip and put it inside the 2.9cm of Hyperjell grip.
  3. Add 5mm of Hyperjell grip inside the 2.9cm of Hyperjell grip.
  4. Inside the Jimnie cap, push in this order: The HGG tip (tip facing the exterior), the Hyperjell grip (side with the G3 grip first), and 1 ring of Anyball.
  5. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 body and connect it to the Jimnie cap.

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the Jimnie cap.
  3. Cut 6mm of Needlepoint grip.
  4. Cut 3 blocks of Supergrip grip.
  5. Cut 1 block of Anyball grip.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Add 3 blocks of Supergrip on the G3 front.
  2. Overgrip the Supergrip ring closest to the front with one block of Anyball grip.
  3. Add 1 Ring of Tect.
  4. Stack the tip in this order: Signo, G3 and HGR. Wrap some tape around it to secure it.
  5. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full Lakubo grip (flat side first)
Cap side
  1. In this order, add in the Jimnie cap: HGG tip, HGR tip, a whole RSVP grip (side without ring first), and 6mm of Needlepoint grip.
  2. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 body and connect it to the Jimnie cap.

  2. Cut 3 and 5 blocks of Anyball grip.

Assembly

Front side
  1. On the front of the G3 barrel, stack the tips in this order: G3, Jell be, and Signo.
  2. Cover the front of the G3 barrel with 3 blocks of anyball grip and an entire HGG grip.
Cap side
  1. Empty the Frixion cap.
  2. In this order, add in the Frixion cap (in this order): HGG tip, Jell be, tip, and an entire HGG grip.
  3. On the Frixion cap, put the G3 rubber stopper where the rubber was and add 5 blocks of Anyball grip
  4. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 body and connect it to the Frixion cap.

  2. Cut 1 blocks of Anyball grip.
  3. Cut 1.4 cm of Signo Broad grip.
  4. Cut the clip of the Jimnie cap.

Assembly

Front side
  1. On the front of the G3 barrel, stack the tips in this order: G3, Supergrip, and Jell be.
  2. Cover the front of the G3 barrel with the cut section of Signo broad grip and an entire HGG grip.
  3. Add the Dr.grip ring inside the HGG grip.
Cap side
  1. In this order, add in the Frixion cap (in this order): HGG tip, Jell be, and an entire HGG grip.
  2. Add 1 block of Anyball grip on the back of the Jimnie cap.
  3. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 body and connect it to the Jimnie cap.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the Air cap (to ~2.5cm).
  3. Cut 5mm and 1.7cm of Hyper Jell grip.
  4. Cut 8mm of the needlepoint grip.
  5. Cut off the stripes of the G3 grip.
  6. Cut the ring from the HGG grip.
  7. Cut the Signo grip to 6mm.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 5mm of Hyperjell grip and then the 8mm of Needlepoint grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tip on the G3 front following this order: Supergrip, HGR and signo.
  3. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full Supergrip grip (stripe side first).
Cap side
  1. Fold the Signo grip and put it inside the G3 stripes.
  2. In this order, put: the HGR tip, the Jell-Be tip, the 1.7cm of Hyperjell grip, the G3 grip (with the signo grip inside), and the HGG ring inside the Air cap.
  3. Connect the back of the G3 on the Air cap.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the Air cap.
  3. Cut around 6/7mm of Needlepoint grip.
  4. Cut 7mm and around 2.7cm of the Hyperjell grip.
  5. Cut 2x 1 block of Anyball grip.
  6. Cut the ring from the HGG grip.
  7. Cut the Signo grip to 6mm.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 7mm of Needlepoint grip and then the 7mm of Hyperjell grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tip on the G3 front following this order: G3, Gel roller and G1. Wrap tape to make the stack stable.
  3. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full Jetstream grip.
Cap side
  1. In this order, put: the HGG tip, 1 block of Anyball grip, the 2.7cm of Hyperjell grip, the Ballsign backplug and the Tect ring inside the Air cap.

  2. Connect the back of the G3 on the Air cap.

Construction of VAIN's original G3

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the clip of the V5 cap.
  3. Cut 1.8cm of Signo Broad grip.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 1.8cm of Signo Broad grip on the front of the G3 barrel.
  2. Stack the tip on the G3 front following this order: Supergrip, HGG and G3.
  3. Cover the remaining visible part of G3 and the tip stack with a full Laknock grip (dimple side first).
  4. Put the Dr.grip ring inside the Laknock grip.
Cap side
  1. Put the BT backplug into the Jim Knock grip
  2. In this order, put: the signo and the Jim Knock grip (with the BT backplug inside) (Side without the Bt backplug first) inside the V5 cap. (Optional: Wrap some Celo tape around both the back of G3 and the Jim Knock grip)
  3. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 then connect to the V5 cap.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square and front bump.
  2. Cut the Signo DX grip to 1.2cm.
  3. Cut the "tip" of the G3 rubber stopper.
  4. Cut the Hyperjell grip to ~3.1/3.2 cm from the rounded side.
  5. Cut 3 blocks of G3 grip.
  6. Cut 2 blocks of Anyball grip.
  7. Cut 3 blocks of D1-K grip.
  8. Cut the Hybrid fine backplug to 8mm from the rounded side.

Assembly

Front side
  1. Put the 1.2cm of Signo Dx grip on the G3 front.
  2. Put the G3 rubber stopper inside the G3 front.
  3. Stack the tips in this order: Plastic G3, Hitec, and metal G3.
  4. Put the whole Supergrip grip on the G3 front (Flat side first).
Cap side
  1. Screw the Jell.Be tip on the Rubber 80 tip.
  2. In this order, put: the Jell.be tipstack (The Jell.be tip should face inside of the cap while the Rubber should face outside), and the Hyperjell grip inside the Frixion cap.
  3. In this order, add: the G3 grip, the Anyball and the D1-K section onto the Frixion cap.
  4. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 then connect to the cap.

  4. Put the whole Hyperjell grip on the G3 front (Flat side first).
Cap side
  1. Put the G3 rubber stopper inside the Hitec tip.
  2. In this order, put: the last step, the entier RSVP grip, and 2mm of Jim knock grip inside the Vision Elite cap.
  3. Connect the cap to the back of the G3.

  5. Cut 1.6cm of HGG grip.

  1. Put respectively 7.5mm and 9mm of G3 and Signo DX grip on the G3 front.
  2. Stack the tips in this order: Plastic G3, Supergrip, Hitec and G1.
  3. Put the whole G2 grip on the G3 front (Stripped side first).
Cap side
  1. Roll the HGG grip and G3 grip and put it inside the Hyperjell grip.
  2. In this order, put: The G1 tip, the Airblanc tip, the Hyperjell (with the HGG and G3 grip inside) inside the V5 cap.
  3. Wrap some tape on the back of the G3 then connect to the cap.
