RPD Factis

The RPD Factis is a double sided 2 Pen 1 Hand oriented mod made by RPD.

Construction

Parts needed

List from the author of this article (This list for one mod):

• x2 Factis BM2 (Barrel)
• x2 Pilot SuperGrip (Grips)
• x1 Spinpro (Black tips)
• x2 Signo DX (Grips)
• x2 Dong-A Com.ssa (Barrel)
• x1 Tsukineko Emboss Dual Pen (small cap)
• x1 Pilot Dr. Grip (grip)
• x2 o-rings

Additional Items

• Teflon tape
• Cello tape

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Cut 2x 0.5cm of Dr. Grip grip then slice both (to make it open).
2. Cut 2/3rd of the front part of Energel (the "tip" part should be the shortest).
3. File the part interior of the back of the Crayola SuperTips caps.
4. File the round exterior part of the Spinpro tips.
5. Cut both Factis barrels to 7.8cm.
6. Cut a 1.1cm section from the Emboss Pen small cap.
7. Cut 1x 4cm of the front of Dong-A Com.ssa and 2x 5cm from the back.

Assembly

1. Push the 0.5cm section of Dr. Grip grip inside the Dong-A Com.ssa.
2. Put the Spinpro tip in the back side of Dong-A Com.ssa barrel.
3. Put the SuperGrip grip on the 5cm section of Dong-A Com.ssa (Striped side first )(it should cover the Spinpro tip).
4. File the remaining visible part of Dong-A Com.ssa barrel (from the 5cm section) until it fits snugly inside the front side of Factis barrels (the cut side). Assemble when ready. (if it's sanded too much, add teflon tape)
5. Stretch the Uni-Ball Signo DX grip and overgrip it onto the SuperGrip grip.
6. Repeat.
7. Put the 1.1cm section of Emboss Pen small cap and put it on the middle of the 4cm section of Dong-A Com.ssa (add cello tape on the com.ssa barrel if necessary).
8. Link both mod bases using the 4cm comssa as a connector (add cello tape if one body fits is loose).
