700N x1213

The 700N x1213 is a double-sided mod made by TWPS spinner x1213.

Construction

Parts needed

List from the TWPS:

• x2 700N (body and 2 caps)
• x2 SP10 (2 caps)
• x2 Uni-Ball Signo (2 tips and 1 grip)

Text tutorial

1. Remove the printing from the 700N barrel.
   

   

   
   
2. Cut the Signo DX (UM-151) grip in half. The source photographs show a Signo Broad (UM-153) grip used as a substitute.
   

   

   
   
3. Remove the clips from both SP10 caps, following the marked areas in the photograph.
   

   

   
   
4. At each end, fit an SP10 cap over the 700N cap. Fit a grip half over the outer end of the SP10 cap and insert a Signo tip with its point facing outward. The source recommends a small amount of double-sided tape on the 700N cap and the broad base of the Signo tip, at the red arrows, to secure the assembly.
   

   

   
   
5. Repeat at the other end and fit both prepared cap assemblies onto the 700N barrel.
