Neptunus Mod

The Neptunus Mod is a pen mod created by FPSB modder VORE-TEX for the JEB spinner VAIN during the production of his X Incipiens Stabilus CV.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2x Stalogy (Backplugs)
• 2x Juice Up (Tips)
• 2x Anyball (grip sections)
• 2x Airblanc (2 cm grip sections)
• 2x V-Feel 05 (Body and grip)
• 1x HGG (two 5.5–6 mm grip sections)
• 1x GP/similar (two 1.2 cm thin grip sections)
• 1x Sarasa (old-style grip)
• 1x Tombow Playcolor2 (body)
• 1x RSVP (two 1.5 cm grip connectors)

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble both V-Feel pens. Cut two 3.6 cm rear barrel sections and clean their interiors.
   

   

   
   
   

   

   
   
2. Cut both Stalogy backplugs to 8.6 mm. Wrap clear tape around their threaded sections.
   

   

   
   
3. Cut two 5.5–6 mm HGG grip sections and two 1.2 cm GP grip sections. A similarly thin grip may replace GP.
   

   

   
   
   

   

   
   
4. For each end, fit the HGG grip over the Stalogy backplug, insert its flared end into a Juice Up tip, and sleeve the assembly with the GP grip.
   

   

   
   
5. Cut the old Sarasa grip and one V-Feel grip in half. Fit a Sarasa half over each V-Feel barrel section, followed by a V-Feel grip half containing the prepared tip assembly.
6. Fit a 2 cm Airblanc grip section over each outer V-Feel grip. The source permits 10 × 8 mm silicone tube as a substitute.
   

   

   
   
7. Add a 3-stripe Anyball section at each outer end. SuperGrip or G2 may substitute.
   

   

   
   
8. Cut two 1.5 cm RSVP grip sections. Insert one into each inner V-Feel barrel opening.
   

   

   
   
9. Push the Playcolor2 barrel ends into these RSVP grip connectors to attach both end assemblies.
