Hollowing a KT type cap is a Penmodding technique that involves the removal of the nub of a KT type cap. This method also works for ACT caps.
This technique is used by almost every KT-type mod with an inversed tip. Example of these include:Kagami DC, Slofis Colors Mod, and Neoback mod.
Methods
Hammer method
This method is the quickest but has its own risk. The KT cap may break in the process. As ENO's KT caps have stronger joints.
A safer similar method involves putting the cap upside down and hitting the base with a hammer
- With a hammer, hit precisely with moderate force the rounded part of the nub. One hit is generally enough.

Wood scissor method
This method is more precise and won't break your CT cap. For it, you will need a wood scissor with a rounded plug
- Insert the Wood scissor in the hole near the nub and break every joint until the nub separates.
