Minwoo Mod

Minwoo Mod is a personal mod made by the spinner Minwoo. It is known for its usage by Minwoo in the Pen Spinning World Tournament 2009.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1x Dr. Grip (tip and grip)
• 1x G3 (metal tip and cap)
• 1x Super Pirat (barrel)
• 1x Sailor (grip)
• 1x Comssa (cap)
• 1x Penwish Ring (ring)
• 1x Gripmatic (tip and grip)

Text tutorial

Comssa cap

1. Cut a two-ring Sailor section.
2. Remove the Dr. Grip tip and grip. Cut a 2.5 cm section from the lip end of the grip, retaining the lip.
3. Fit the Sailor section over the Comssa cap, followed by the 2.5 cm Dr. Grip section. Insert the Dr. Grip tip into the outer end.
4. Fit the Penwish ring between the Dr. Grip tip and grip.

Barrel

1. Empty the Super Pirat barrel. Use nail polish remover to remove its printing.
2. Wrap electrical tape around the barrel ends as needed to secure the caps.

G3 cap

1. Remove the metal G3 tip. Remove the G3 cap clip and internal rubber stopper.
2. Place the Gripmatic tip inside the G3 cap.
3. Cut another two-ring Sailor section and a 1.2 cm Dr. Grip section.
4. Remove one ring from the Gripmatic grip, keeping the remaining eight-ring section.
5. Fit the metal G3 tip into the eight-ring Gripmatic section. Add a 3.6 × 2.5 cm insert if desired.
6. Insert this assembly into the G3 cap.
7. Fit the two-ring Sailor section and the 1.2 cm Dr. Grip section over the cap.
8. Fit both prepared caps onto the Super Pirat barrel.
