Minwoo Mod is a personal mod made by the spinner Minwoo. It is known for its usage by Minwoo in the Pen Spinning World Tournament 2009.
Construction
Parts needed
- 1x Dr. Grip (tip and grip)
- 1x G3 (tip; metal)
- 1x Super Pirat (barrel)
- 1x Sailor (grip)
- 1x Comssa (cap)
- 1x Penwish Ring (ring)
- 1x Gripmatic (grip/section/ring)
Text tutorial
- Cut 2 sections of sailor grip.
- Take the Dr. Grip tip and grip from the pen, then, cut 2.5cm from the back of the grip. (the lip side of the Dr Grip Grip needs to be 2.5cm)
- Attach the sailor grip and Dr. Grip grip into the comssa cap, then insert the Dr. Grip tip.
- Place the penwish ring between the Dr Grip tip and grip.
- Hollow out super pirat barrel and use nail polish to clean the barrel.
- Use electrical tape to increase width of barrel for later use.
- Unscrew the metal tip from the G3, remove the clip and the in-plug of the G3 cap.
- Place gripmatic tip in G3 cap.
- Cut two sections of sailor grip.
- Cut 1.2cm from Dr. Grip grip.
- Cut one section of gripmatic, we will be using the rest of the 8 sections.
- Place G3 tip on the 8 gripmatic section.
- An insert with the dimensions of 3.6cm to 2.5cm is optional.
- Place the gripmatic 8 section into the G3 cap.
- Place the two section sailor and the Dr. Grip grip over the cap.
- Connect front cap and back cap to body and the mod is finished.
