Text tutorial[1]

Preparation

  1. Cut a 1.5 cm section from the smooth, non-lip end of each Dr. Grip grip.

  2. Cut two 4 mm RSVP sections.

  3. Cut two two-ring and two three-ring Sailor sections.

  4. Hollow out both large Color Twin caps.
  5. Remove the Tulip marker’s writing tip and barrel printing.

Assembly

  1. Remove the lead-holding mechanisms from both TUL mechanical-pencil tips. Insert a tip backwards into each hollowed cap.

  2. Place one O-ring inside the outer end of each cap, around the TUL tip.

  3. Fit a two-ring Sailor section onto one cap, followed by a 1.5 cm Dr. Grip section.

  4. Fit a three-ring Sailor section inside the Dr. Grip section, then insert a 4 mm RSVP section into the Sailor section.

  5. Repeat the grip assembly on the second cap.

  6. Fit both caps onto the Tulip barrel. Sand the rear of the barrel if its cap is too tight, and add tape at the front if needed for a secure fit.
  7. Optionally cut four 6–7 mm-wide foil-tape strips. Place them under the two-ring Sailor sections and under the cap joints on the Tulip barrel.
