Animal G3

Construction

Parts needed

List from FPSB V3:

• 1x G3 (barrel, grip, and ink tube)
• 1x Signo Broad (tip, grip, and cap)
• 2x Hyperjell (cap and grip)
• 1x Sailor (grip)
• 1x Grip Matic (barrel and tip)
• Some grips

Additional Items

• Tape
• An insert

Preparation

1. Cut the clip from the Hyperjell cap.
2. Cut four stripes from the G3 grip. You should have four stripes and one flat section with two stripes.
3. Cut the front of the G3 barrel to the same length as the flat section of G3 grip with two stripes.
4. Shave the nubs from the G3 cap.
5. Cut the front of the Grip Matic barrel; this section will be used.
6. Cut a 0.9 cm section of grip (listed as “some grips” above).
7. Cut the Signo Broad cap at the “inner ring.”
8. Empty the G3 ink tube, then cut a ~3 cm section and wrap it in tape.
9. Cut two 2-block sections and one 5-block section of Sailor grip.

Assembly

Front side

1. Connect the front of the G3 barrel to the front of the Grip Matic barrel using the G3 ink tube.
2. Add the 9 mm grip, then the Hyperjell grip, to the G3 front structure.
   

   

   
   
3. Screw the Grip Matic tip onto the front.
4. Overgrip the front section in this order: two stripes of Sailor grip, the large section of Signo Broad cap, two stripes of Sailor grip, and five stripes of Sailor grip.
   

   

   
   

Cap side

1. Wrap the Signo tip and grip with an insert, then place them inside the Hyperjell cap.
   

   

   
   
2. Add tape to the G3 body, then connect it to the Hyperjell cap.
