Nine is a spinner from UPSB and Fen Spinner who came top 8 in the Pen Spinning World Tournament 2019 and was a member of the Pen Spinning World Cup 2022 team Final Boss.

Originally starting as an RSVP MX spinner, Nine switched to training more technical content in 2018, and switched to using an Energel ST. He rose in popularity after copying a combo from Slofis and performing advanced linkages in WT19. Notably, his distinctive spinning style fuses technical and aesthetic spinning, combining high difficulty and structure with much higher execution than normal for technical spinners.

Competitive Spinning

World Tournament 2019

Round 1

Group phase - Group B.

Round 2

Group phase - Group J.

Round 3

Final group phase.

Round 4

Nine famously didn't submit a video for round 4, after failing to land his combo's finisher on camera. This led to a series of long-running jokes and memes about him not submitting versus his opponent, DArKT. The combo video with the failed finisher is unlisted and has been shared, with comments from his opponent that he likely would have won if he was able to successfully land it.

World Cup 2022

Nine joined Fen Spinner in late 2021 and later agreed to join a team comprised of spinners from The Workshop and Fen Spinner for World Cup. However, disagreements led to splitting off and forming a new team entirely of Fen Spinner members: Final Boss.

Round 1

Battle Royale CV phase.

Round 2

Aestheticism theme. Versus Petuy from PSH.

Collaboration Video Appearances

Nine appeared in several notable CVs:
