Linkage

In pen spinning, a ‘’’linkage’’’ is a sequence of tricks combined together that is shorter than a combo. The archaic form ‘minicombo’ is sometimes used to refer to linkages where the tricks still appear largely independent of one another.

Linkages can be composed of either independent tricks or unique hybrid sequences with many interruptions. Spinners that specialise in linkages tend to focus on the latter, with increasing complexity and visual effects being explored through the sequence variations.
