ShinRa Color Mod

The ShinRa Color Mod is a double-sided mod made by ShinRa. The number of Uni-Ball Signo tips used is variable. The statistics shown are for the original one which uses 4 tips.

Text tutorial

1. Empty both Monami Live Color barrels, removing their writing tips, backplugs and ink. Cut off the narrow front sections.
2. Stack equal numbers of Signo tips for the two ends. The creator demonstrates two tips per end and permits other quantities.
3. Cut Quantum Cyclop Speed 033 grip sections long enough to contain the tip stacks. The demonstration uses 1.5 cm per end for two tips. Insert each stack backwards into its grip sleeve.
4. Prepare two SuperGrip grips and fourteen Anyball blocks: four 2-block sections and two 3-block sections.
5. Fit a SuperGrip grip over each cut Live Color front, adjusting its insertion depth to suit the tip stack.
6. Push the Quantum-sleeved tip stack into the outer SuperGrip end.
7. Overgrip each SuperGrip from barrel toward outer end with 2 Anyball blocks, 3 blocks, then 2 blocks.
8. Join the rear barrel openings with a Color Twin backplug. Wrap approximately 3–4 cm of clear tape around the loose side of the backplug as needed for a tight fit.
