Collaboration videos, also called CVs, are a common type of media in the pen spinning community where a series of videos are submitted by participants to be edited together into one combined presentation. CVs are differentiated from tag and solo videos by the number of participants, with CVs typically containing 5 or more spinners and often being over 2 minutes in length.
History
The collaboration video in pen spinning first gained traction with the release of PenDolSa 1st, edited from clips uploaded to Pencil Turning Cafe by early Korean pencil spinners. The video went viral on the early internet.
