Akaitul

The Akaitul is a double-sided mod made by VNPS spinner Akai.

Construction

Parts needed

List from the video below:

• 2x TUL Mechanical Pencils (2 body 1 backplug)
• 2x Pilot G2 (Grips)
• 2x Sailor (Grips)
• 2x Metal ring big enough to fit onto the TUL body.
• 3/2x O-ring
  • Optional for the center part
• 2x Pentel RSVP (2 grip)
  • Optional

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Cut both Sailor grips to 9 rings.
2. Remove the metal part of the TUL backplug.
3. Cut the G2 grip so you have 2x a flat side with 5 rings.

Assembly

1. Add the G2 grip to the TUL barrel (leave around 7mm).
2. Place the metal ring, then one O-ring, on the TUL body.
3. Add the Sailor grip to the TUL body.
4. Add one RSVP grip into the end of the TUL barrel (fold it over itself height-wise)
5. Repeat on the other TUL and connect both using the backplug (you can add 1 O-ring).
