Akaitul

The Akaitul is a double sided mod made by VNPS spinner Akai.

Construction

Parts needed

List from the video below:

• 2x TUL Mechanical Pencils (2 body 1 backplug)
• 2x Pilot G2 (Grips)
• 2x Sailor (Grips)
• 2x Metal ring big enough to fit onto the TUL body.
• 3/2x O-ring
  • Optional for the center part
• 2x Pentel RSVP (2 grip)
  • Optional

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Cut both Sailor grips to 9 rings.
2. Remove the metal part of the TUL backplug.
3. Cut the G2 grip so you have 2x a flat side with 5 rings.

Assembly

1. Add the G2 grip on the TUL barrel (leave around 7mm).
2. Put the metal ring then one O-ring on the TUL body.
3. Add the Sailor grip on the TUL body.
4. Add one RSVP grip inside the extremity of the TUL barrel (fold it over itself height wise)
5. Repeat on the other TUL and connect both using the backplug (you can add 1 oring).
