The G3 MX² is a single-sided mod made by Orctupus.
Construction
Parts needed
List from UPSB V3[1]:
- 1x G3 (metal tip, barrel, and ink tube)
- 3x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (3 tips and 3 grips)
- 1x Dong-A Anyball (grip)
- Optional
Additional Items
- Tape
- An insert
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the clip of the G3 cap.
- Prepare the G3 barrel by filing the square bump.
- Cut 5 mm from the back of the ink tube (Put it back in the barrel but reversed).
- Cut 2 blocks of Anyball grip.
- From one of the HGG grips, cut the ring and 2 sections the same size as the ring.
- Cut the ring from another HGG grip.
Assembly
Front side
- Put 2 blocks of Anyball grip inside the front of the G3 barrel.
- Glue an HGG tip onto the metal G3 tip.
- Add the grip in this order on the front of the G3: two rings of HGG and a whole HGG grip (ring side facing inward).
Cap side
- In the G3 cap, add in this order: the HGG grip without the ring, and 2 HGG rings.
- Add tape on the G3 body then connect it to the G3 cap.
