The Akaitul is a double-sided mod made by VNPS spinner Akai.
Construction
Parts needed
List from the video below:
- 2x TUL Mechanical Pencils (2 body 1 backplug)
- 2x Pilot G2 (Grips)
- 2x Sailor (Grips)
- 2x Metal ring big enough to fit onto the TUL body.
- 3/2x O-ring
- Optional for the center part
- 2x Pentel RSVP (2 grip)
- Optional
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut both Sailor grips to 9 rings.
- Remove the metal part of the TUL backplug.
- Cut the G2 grip so you have 2x a flat side with 5 rings.
Assembly
- Add the G2 grip to the TUL barrel (leave around 7mm).
- Place the metal ring, then one O-ring, on the TUL body.
- Add the Sailor grip to the TUL body.
- Add one RSVP grip into the end of the TUL barrel (fold it over itself height-wise)
- Repeat on the other TUL and connect both using the backplug (you can add 1 O-ring).
