The Pall Emboss is a double-sided mod made by Fen spinner Varoza for Pall's WT21 combo.
Construction
Parts needed
List from IMPC:
- x2 Tsukineko Fabrico / Tsukineko Emboss (body, cap and 1 back plugs)
- x2 Pilot Dr. Grip (grips)
- It is possible to use only one, but the symmetry will be slightly different.
- x2 Pilot AirBlanc (tips)
- x2 Pentel Hybrid Gel Roller (tips)
Additional Items
- Tape
- Heatshrink tube
- Glue
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the heat-shrink tube to around 2 6 cm section (around 3 cm is visible when the mod is completed).
- Cut the Emboss front plug to around 1 cm.
- Cut both Dr.grip grips in half.
- Cut both Emboss small caps so that they are assembled with a backplug in the middle, the result is ~24 cm.
Assembly
- Glue the HGR tip onto the Airblanc tip.
- Wrap some tape around the tipstack.
- Place the small Emboss cap on the cut Emboss plug.
- Place the tipstack inside the small Emboss cap (it should be tight inside the cap).
- Place the heat-shrink tube on the cap and heat it. A lip should be created to keep the tips in place. Around 5.5 cm should still be flat on the body.
- Place the Dr.grip grip half on the extremity of the Emboss base.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Connect both bases on the Emboss backplug.
