The Animal G3 is a personal mod made by An[!]Mal.
Construction
Parts needed
List from FPSB V3:[1]
- 1x G3 (barrel, grip, and ink tube)
- 1x Signo Broad (tip, grip, and cap)
- 2x Hyperjell (cap and grip)
- 1x Sailor (grip)
- 1x Grip Matic (barrel and tip)
- Some grips
Additional Items
- Tape
- An insert
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the clip from the Hyperjell cap.
- Cut four stripes from the G3 grip. You should have four stripes and one flat section with two stripes.
- Cut the front of the G3 barrel to the same length as the flat section of G3 grip with two stripes.
- Shave the nubs from the G3 cap.
- Cut the front of the Grip Matic barrel; this section will be used.
- Cut a 0.9 cm section of grip (listed as “some grips” above).
- Cut the Signo Broad cap at the “inner ring.”
- Empty the G3 ink tube, then cut a ~3 cm section and wrap it in tape.
- Cut two 2-block sections and one 5-block section of Sailor grip.
Assembly
Front side
- Connect the front of the G3 barrel to the front of the Grip Matic barrel using the G3 ink tube.
- Add the 9 mm grip, then the Hyperjell grip, to the G3 front structure.
- Screw the Grip Matic tip onto the front.
- Overgrip the front section in this order: two stripes of Sailor grip, the large section of Signo Broad cap, two stripes of Sailor grip, and five stripes of Sailor grip.
Cap side
- Wrap the Signo tip and grip with an insert, then place them inside the Hyperjell cap.
- Add tape to the G3 body, then connect it to the Hyperjell cap.
