Xylish G3

Xylish G3 is a single-sided G3 mod by Xylish. It combines a G3 barrel with a Hyper Jell cap and layered grips.

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G3 (barrel and tip)
• 1 Pilot Hybrid Fine tip
• 1 Zebra Hyper Jell (grip and cap)
• 1 Ohto Needlepoint tip
• 1 Uni-ball Signo DX grip
• 1 Uni-ball Signo Broad grip
• 1 Pilot SuperGrip mechanical-pencil tip
• 1 Dong-A Anyball grip
• A suitable spare grip for inside the cap

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the G3, remove its grip and file down the front.
2. Stack the tips in this order: G3 tip, SuperGrip mechanical-pencil tip with the nib removed, then Needlepoint tip.
3. Cover the front with these grip sections, in order: 0.3 cm Signo Broad, 2.5 Anyball blocks, 0.4 cm Signo Broad, two Anyball blocks, then the full Signo DX grip.
4. Cut the clip off the Hyper Jell cap.
5. Put the Hybrid Fine tip into the Hyper Jell grip, followed by a short piece of suitable grip (the creator used Anyball).
6. Put the grip assembly into the Hyper Jell cap.
7. Wrap tape around the back of the G3 barrel and attach the cap.
