VTUL

VTUL is a double-sided mod by Vôre-Tèx. It measures 19 cm and weighs 16 g.

Parts needed

• 2 TUL mechanical pencils (one barrel and both backplugs)
• 2 Dong-A Anyball grips
• 1 Zebra Sarasa grip
• 2 French Pilot Dr. Grip tips
• 1 Sailor Gel or IC Liquid grip
• 2 Pentel KT/ColorTwin caps

Construction

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble both TUL pencils and keep the backplugs. Cut the clips off the backplugs, then cut each backplug to 1 cm as shown in the creator tutorial.

   

2. Push a backplug into each end of the TUL barrel and wrap one turn of tape around each backplug.
3. Hollow both ColorTwin caps.
4. Cut two 1 cm sections of Sarasa grip and two four-block sections of Anyball grip, starting after the first two blocks at the front of the grip.
5. Place one Sarasa section on each cap, followed by an Anyball section.
6. Cut two three-block sections of Sailor grip and put one over each French Dr. Grip tip.
7. Insert the Dr. Grip tips upside down into the caps. Put the Anyball grips over the Sailor grip sections.
8. Double-cap the TUL barrel with the prepared caps.
