Thund3r Mx

Thund3r Mx is a single-sided pen mod created by Thund3rcrash. It measures 19 cm and weighs 14 g.

Parts needed

• 1 Pentel RSVP (grip and cap)
• 1 Pilot G2 (body, ink tube and clicker)
• 1 grip from a Pilot SuperGrip, Dong-A Anyball or Zebra Profile
• 1 Comssa cap assembly: Dong-A cap, Anyball grip and Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip tip
• 1 additional Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip tip (the assembly uses two tips total)
• Additional tape, sticky tack and a short toothpick piece for the internal assembly

Two HGG tips are required: one in the Comssa cap assembly and a second attached to it.

Text tutorial

1. Hollow the Dong-A cap.
2. Screw one Hybrid Gel Grip tip onto the part prepared in the hollowed cap. Attach a second HGG tip to it with sticky tack, fill the remaining space with tack and add a toothpick piece about 1.5 cm long.
3. Trim about 1 mm from the large end of the G2 clicker and fill it with sticky tack. Connect the small Comssa-cap section to the clicker using the toothpick; leave enough room for the clicker to slide.
4. Insert this mechanism into the Dong-A cap and fit the grips onto that cap.
5. On the G2 body at the clicker end, wrap tape around the body and add two thin strips of Anyball grip.
6. Put the cap on the narrow end of the G2 body. Reinsert the ink tube, then screw the G2 front and grip section back together. Adjust the fit as needed.
7. File down the body bump, then add the RSVP grip and cap.
