Sututu G3

Sututu G3 is an RSVP-style G3 mod by Sututu, using a Frixion Colors cap and stacked front tips.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G3 barrel, grip and plastic tip
• 2 Uni-ball Signo DX tips and 1 Signo grip
• 1 Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (HGG) tip
• 1 Pilot Hi-Tec-C tip
• 1 Pentel Hyper Jell grip
• 2 Pilot Super Grip grips
• 1 Pilot Frixion Colors cap
• Tape

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the G3, remove its grip, and file the front of the barrel.
2. Build the front tip stack from the G3 tip, a Signo tip and the Hi-Tec-C tip.
3. Cut two 1 cm sections from the Hyper Jell grip. Put one at the front of the G3, followed by the full Signo grip and the other Hyper Jell section.
4. Clear the Frixion cap. Tape the HGG tip inside a Signo tip, with the HGG tip facing inward as illustrated, and place this assembly inside the cap.
5. Add the full G3 grip and three blocks cut from one Super Grip grip to the cap. Cut grip stripes from the second Super Grip grip and add them to the cap.
6. Add an insert to the G3 barrel and fit the prepared cap over the rear. Secure the rear assembly with tape.
