Sticks G3

Sticks G3 is a lightweight, single-sided mod by Sticks, built on a plastic Pilot G3. It measures 20 cm and weighs 10.94 g.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2 plastic Pilot G3 pens (barrel, grips, tips and rear stopper)
• 1 Uni-ball Air cap
• 1 Uni Lakubo grip
• 1 HGG tip
• 1 Pilot Super Grip mechanical-pencil tip

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the G3 body, remove its grip, and sand down the small squares and front ridges.
2. Cut four blocks from a G3 grip and put them on the front; an O-ring is optional.
3. Build the front tip stack in this order: G3 tip, G3 tip, then HGG tip screwed onto the stack. Cover it with the Lakubo grip.
4. Cut the clip off the Uni-ball Air cap.
5. Fit the G3 rear stopper into the Super Grip mechanical-pencil tip without removing its small metal nib. Place that tip in the cap.
6. Add a whole G3 grip and one additional grip block inside the cap.
7. Put an insert into the G3 barrel and fit the prepared cap to the rear.
