RiAsON DC Mod

The RiAsON DC Mod is a double-sided mod using Emboss pen caps on a Play Color barrel. RiAsON DC Mod is an unofficial name; it was originally called Emboss PlayColor, a name chosen arbitrarily by the tutorial’s author.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2x Tsukineko Stamp Emboss pens (caps)
• 2x Uni-ball Signo tips
• 1x Anyball grip
• 1x Pentel Play Color 2 (barrel)

Text Tutorial

1. On each large Emboss cap, place a grip section (Anyball or a similar grip) in the groove, then fit a Signo tip into it to secure the assembly; make two assemblies.

   

2. Remove the clip cap from the Play Color 2 barrel, empty it, and retain the small cap on the barrel.
3. Fit one prepared Emboss cap on each end of the Play Color 2 barrel.
4. Remove the barrel’s internal shaft if desired.
