Reboot Pilot color jr Mod

The Reboot Pilot color jr Mod is a personnal power oriented double sided mod of Brazilian spinner, Reboot. He used it to win both BERT22 and Pen Spinning Olympics 2022 (Power)

Construction

Parts needed

List from the video below:

• x2 Pilot color jr 850 (Barrels, caps)
• Grips (Garden hose is often used)
• Screws
• Any large enough connecting pen

Additional Items

• Acetone
• Tape

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Disassemble the Pilot color jr 850 pens
2. Cut the tip part of the Pilot color jr 850 pens and scrape the interior
3. (Facultative) Cut the Pilot color jr 850 pens to make these slightly shorter.
4. Poke a hole in the caps
5. Cut ~0.5 from the cap
6. Cut the grips to desired lengh.
7. Cut the connecting pen to ~4cm

Assembly

1. (if you have shorten your Pilot color jr 850 pens) Add some tape on the front side of the body.
2. Screw the bolt/screw inside the hole of the cap.
   

   

   
   
3. Add some grips at the caps. (Reboot used supergrip and cis jet 1.0 grip underneath)
   

   

   
   
4. (Facultative) Melt the end of the grips to connect these between them.
   

   

   
   
5. Repeat on another cap
6. (Facultative) Add a piece of body/grip on the connecting pen
   

   

   
   
7. Put the caps on the front of the mod and connect the 2 body with a central connector (tape might be necessary)
