RSVP G-Force

RSVP G-Force is a retractable-style mod designed by Spartan. Its basic and colored versions use a cut Pilot G3 barrel fitted over an RSVP body. It measures 17 cm and weighs 14 g.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G3 (barrel, two caps and one tip)
• 1 Pentel RSVP body
• 1 Pilot G2 ink tube
• 2 SGM grips
• Anyball grip sections (for the basic version)
• Three inserts (for the colored version)

Tutorial

1. Cut the screw thread from the rear of the RSVP body.
2. Remove the clip from one G3 cap and file the cut smooth. Fit this cap onto the front of the RSVP body.
3. Measure 6.5cm from the G3 tip and cut the barrel there. File the cut end flat.
4. Cut the clip end of the other G3 cap, retaining the section around the clip ball and leaving a little extra material for the insert.
5. For the basic version, wrap tape around the middle of the G3 barrel, fit the modified cap over the rear of the barrel, and use the tape to stop it moving.
6. Empty the G2 ink tube and trim it to 5–5.5cm. Fit it into the cut front of the G3 barrel and secure it with clear tape.
7. Add Anyball grip sections to finish the basic version. For the colored version, use three inserts at the front, middle and rear; the insert holds the G3 cap in place, so the tape used in the basic version is unnecessary.
