Menowa* Pen’zgear

The Menowa* Pen’zgear is a double-sided pen mod by Menowa*. Its construction uses a Pen’zGear barrel with G3 caps and paired tip assemblies.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Pen’zGear (barrel and caps)
• 2 Pilot G3 (backplugs and caps)
• 2 Pentel Old Hybrid Gel Grip (HGG) tips
• 2 Pilot Airblanc tips
• 2 suitable grips, such as Dong-a Anyball
• 2 inserts

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the Pen’zGear. Remove the ink and rubber sections from its caps, retaining the plastic plugs, and remove the metal rings.
2. Attach a G3 backplug to each Pen’zGear cap.
3. Remove the rubber stopper from each G3 cap. Place an HGG tip and then an Airblanc tip inside each cap.
4. Wrap an insert around each Pen’zGear cap and fit it into a G3 cap, aligning the Pen’zGear cap with the edge of the G3 cap.
5. Add decorative grip sections to both prepared caps and fit one cap on each end of the Pen’zGear barrel.
