Menowa* G3 (Old version)

The Menowa* G3 is a personal mod made by Menowa*. As he no longer uses it, its name could be translated as "Former G3" (旧G3).

Construction

Parts needed

List from the Pm.pm:

• 1x G3 (barrel and plastic tip)
• 1x Jimnie (cap and grip)
• 1x Zebra Airfit LT GEL/Ballpoint (tip)
• 1x Dong-A Anyball (grip)
• 1x Pilot Dr. Grip (grip)
• 1x Namae (Backplug)
• 1x Muji Aluminum Pen (Tip)
• 1x Pentel Color Twin (barrel)
• 1x Pilot G2 (Barrel)
• 1x Pilot G2 (tip)
• 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (tip)
• 2x Zebra Airfit BA-9 (Metal ring)

Additional Items

• Tape
• An insert (or multiple)

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Cut the clip of the G3 cap and remove the rubber stopper.
2. Prepare the G3 barrel, then sand down the front until it's possible to fit an insert under the g2 barrel when connecting.
3. Cut 3 blocks of Anyball grip.
4. Cut 4.7cm from the front of the G2 barrel.
5. Cut 3.2cm from the Jimnie cap.
6. Cut the top part of the Namae backplug.
7. Cut 0.5 cm of the Dr. Grip grip.
8. Cut the big ring, 1 block, 2 blocks and 3 blocks of anyball grip.
9. Cut 2.3cm of Ct barrel

Assembly

Front side

1. Put the g2 body on the front of the g3 "screw" side first.
2. Add the big ring of Anyball grip, an airfit ring, the jimnie cap (Optional: Put an insert underneath), then another airfit ring.
3. Stack the tips in this order if you use LT Ballpoint tip: Airfit LT bp tip, and G1 tip. The tip stack with LT Gel is: HGG tip, Airfit LT gel tip, and G1 tip.
4. Put the tip stack in the g2 barrel (it should fit snugly)
5. Adjust the jimnie cap, then add 3 block of anyball on the front.

Cap side

1. Put the Muji aluminum tip inside the g3 cap.
2. Put the Namae backplug and the cut section of ct barrel inside the cap (Optional: Wrap an insert around the Ct barrel).
3. On the cap add the grips in this order: 1 ring of Anyball, 0.5cm of Dr. Grip grip, and 2 blocks of Anyball grip.
4. Add tape on the G3 body then connect it to the G3 cap.
