Text tutorial
The total number of decorative grip rings is unclear in the original instructions. Use the finished-mod and front-detail photographs as a guide.
- Cut the HGG and RSVP grips into rings and place the first rings on the Gel’7 grip.
- Prepare the front stack: fit a Signo tip into one end of a 1.5 cm HGG grip section and a G1 tip into the other, leaving only the raised portion of the G1 tip exposed. Place three ridged grip sections (HGG–RSVP–HGG) at the front of the Signo tip.

Front assembly, step 2 - Screw an HGG tip onto the front of the Gel’7 barrel. Fit the Impact RT grip over the front and place the G1–Signo–grip assembly inside it.
- Remove the clip from the Inkgel cap. Cut the back of a G2 grip about halfway and arrange the cap grips in this order: G2–HGG–RSVP–HGG–G2. Cut an unused RSVP grip to 2.1 cm.
- Cut 2.6 cm from the G1 ink tube and press it into the G1 tip. Add the Flexgrip Elite tip to the tube and cover the tube with the 2.1 cm RSVP grip.
- Insert the G1/Flexgrip assembly into the Inkgel cap with its tip directed down into the cap. Remove the Gel’7 backcap, add several turns of tape, then add HGG–RSVP–HGG grip rings and an insert. Fit the cap over the rear ridges so the G1 tube seats in the Gel’7 opening.[2]
