Hybrid -DC- HGG

Hybrid -DC- HGG is a mod by DarkArcher (Eric), measuring 18.5 cm and weighing about the same as an RSVP MX. It is easy to make.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 G3 cap and grip
• 1 HGG (body, tip, and cap)
• 2 G2 grips
• An insert and tape

Text tutorial

1. Cut the G2 grips as shown below.

   

   

2. Push out the HGG backplug and add an insert. Screw the HGG tip onto the body. Add a thin layer of tape to the grip area so the G2 grips fit without wobbling, then install the grips.
3. Remove the HGG cap clip and file it smooth. Check that the G3 cap can slide over the HGG cap; removing the rubber piece from the HGG cap is optional.

   

4. Wrap an insert around the HGG cap and fit the cap to the HGG body.
5. Remove and sand the clip from the G3 cap. Put a 3 cm G3 grip section inside it, then slide the G3 cap over the HGG cap. Thin the insert between the caps if the fit is too tight.
