Flexcyl mx

Flexcyl mx is a lightweight single-sided pen mod by Taeko, using a thin Supertip barrel with RSVP and Dong-A cap assemblies.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1x Pentel RSVP (cap and grip)
• 2x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (tips)
• 2x thin Supertip (barrels; two are used in the assembly, although the original parts list specifies one)
• 1x Dong-A pen (cap)
• 1x Anyball (grip)
• 1x Pilot G1 (tip)

Text tutorial

1. Empty the Supertip barrel and cut 23 mm from its front, not counting the tip.
2. Put an RSVP grip and an HGG tip over the Supertip tip.
3. Cut the front stripe from the Anyball grip and place it inside the RSVP cap.
4. Push the RSVP cap onto the front assembly; the Anyball stripe holds the HGG tip.
5. Empty the remaining Supertip barrel and fit the Dong-A cap to its back end, avoiding excessive insertion.
6. Screw an HGG tip onto the Dong-A cap and secure the G1 tip with putty.
7. Fit the remaining Anyball grip over the Dong-A cap.
