FG3 mod

The FG3 mod is a single-sided mod by Whizz assembled from four Pilot G3 pens, with extra grips at the ends.

Construction

Parts needed

• 4x Pilot G3 (four tips, two caps, one barrel, one grip and one ink tube)
• 1x Anyball (grip)
• Optional: Airfit, Dr. Grip or Tornado grip (cap sleeves instead of tape)

Text tutorial

1. Enlarge or trim the G3 ink tube to fit inside the body, then install it with a G3 tip at the front. Wrap one layer of tape around the front tip and push the excess into the tip opening. Add tape to the back of the body.
2. Remove the clips and clip holders from both caps and smooth the edges. Cut one cap to 4 cm.
3. Put two G3 tips inside the full-length cap. Add the G3 grip, attach this cap to the back of the body, then place the taped tip inside the shorter cap and attach it at the front.
4. Add two short G3 grip sections and two Anyball sections over the front tip. Add tape to the caps and an Anyball section to the back cap. Airfit, Dr. Grip or Tornado grips can replace the tape on the caps.
