Evo Sunburst

The Evo Sunburst (Sunburst Evolution) is a single-sided pen mod by Pari. It combines a Sunburst barrel with an RSVP back cap and grips, Signo and Duraflash tips, and marker parts.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2x Spoko Mini (grips)
• 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (grip)
• 1x Uni-ball Signo (tip)
• 1x Duraflash (tip)
• 1x Zebra Hyper Jell (cap and grip)
• 1x Pilot Sunburst (grip and barrel)
• 1x Pentel RSVP (grip and back cap)

Text tutorial

1. Remove the Duraflash tip by pushing it out with a thumb.
2. Cut rings from the HGG and Sunburst grips as for MX². Trim 3 mm from the other end of the Sunburst grip to produce three rings from the two grips.
3. Replace the Sunburst back cap with the RSVP back cap.
4. Fit two of the cut rings onto the Sunburst, followed by the HGG grip. Place the Duraflash tip on the front of the Sunburst.
5. Add the Signo tip at the front over the Duraflash tip. Cut the Hyper Jell grip to cover the Duraflash and almost all of the flat part of the Signo tip, then fit it over the front assembly.
6. Cut the clip off the Hyper Jell cap. Insert the Sunburst grip slightly into the RSVP grip and fit those grips into the Hyper Jell cap. Place the remaining ring on the RSVP back cap and fit the Hyper Jell cap onto the pen.
7. For the gripped version, cut one Spoko Mini grip as shown in the illustrated tutorial.
8. Cut the second Spoko Mini grip to 2–2.3 cm and fit the Spoko Mini grips onto the pen as shown in the original tutorial. Omit steps 7–8 for a lighter build.
