Cyl 83 Mod

The Cyl 83 Mod, also called Tek's Super Tip Mod, is a mod by olllDumPlllo built from Crayola SuperTips caps and BK 83 tips. It measures 21 cm, has a medium weight, and uses no outsert.

Construction

Parts needed

• 3 Crayola SuperTips (caps)
• 2 BK 83 (tips)
• 1 or 2 Gel Waves, Sailor, or Duraflash (one ink tube and one or two grips)
• Electrical tape

Text tutorial

1. Cut two grip sections, described in the original tutorial as “1 block of 6 stripes x2.” The precise cut is unclear. Add one wrap of electrical tape and fit the grip and tip to the top of the cap.
2. Trim the cap lip as shown below.

3. Empty a Sailor ink tube and cut it in half.
4. Place the two ink-tube pieces into the cut cap; add tape if needed.
5. Assemble the caps to finish the mod.
6. Omit the middle cap if desired.
