Crayola SuperTips

Crayola SuperTips, sometimes called ST, are markers produced by Crayola. They are widely used in Pen Modding.

There are several variations of the marker, with differing names for them among spinners. Commonly they are split into 'old', 'new' and 'new new' SuperTips, though it hasn't been proven that the old SuperTips ever predated the new ones.

Variations

Old SuperTips

These markers were used to construct the original Buster CYL mod. The 'Old' SuperTips are slightly thinner than the new, which makes placing comssa caps easier.

The gold lettering wears off fairly easily with moderate use.

New SuperTips

Thicker than the old SuperTips, the new variation can still be used for the same mods. The thickness makes it easier to place Keityou style caps.

The debossed gold lettering is far more durable and does not wear off without extreme use. There is a version of these that comes with a silver lettering as well.

'New New' SuperTips

Commonly found inside packs of SuperTips at stores, these have a barrel that is far shorter than the original two variations, sometimes printed.

They do not have much, if any use for modding and care should be taken to avoid accidentally buying a pack to find them inside.
