Colorgel HAMMX is a weighted, capped mod by Scouto, built around a Colorgel body with G3 and G2 parts.[4]
Construction
Parts needed
- Colorgel body, grip, tip and ink tube
- Pilot G3 cap; Pilot G2 rear section
- Pentel HGG tip; Uni-ball Signo tip
- SGM / Anyball / Profile grip; spare grip; optional insert
Text tutorial
- Remove the Colorgel grip and tip, file the raised front ring, then refit the tip with the HGG tip as shown.
- Shorten the Colorgel ink tube slightly and reinsert it upside down.
- Cut about 4.5 cm from the threaded rear of a G2 and fit it to the Colorgel front. Add an insert if wanted, then place the SGM/Anyball/Profile grip at the front of the G2 section.
- Remove the G3 cap clip and file it down. Place the base of the Signo tip in the Colorgel grip.
- Push the Colorgel grip slightly onto the rear of the body and fit the prepared G3 cap over it. Put the spare grip piece of your choice over the cap.
