VT MX

VT MX (also called Vôre-Tèx RSVP MX) is Vôre-Tèx's version of the RSVP MX. It measures 20 cm and weighs 14 g.

Parts needed

• 1 older retractable Pentel RSVP (tip and grip); the grip may be replaced by a regular RSVP grip and the tip by a SuperGrip ballpoint tip
• 1 Pentel Moonz (barrel, backcap and ink tube); a regular RSVP may substitute
• 1 Pentel Sunburst cap; a regular RSVP cap may substitute
• 1 Uni-ball Signo DX grip
• 1 Pentel e.ball grip
• 1 Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip tip
• 7 mm heat-shrink tubing

Construction

Text tutorial

1. Use a cap without its small ball: either a Sunburst cap or a Moonz cap with the ball removed. Shorten the clip with the claw-cut technique demonstrated below.
2. Do not push the cap all the way onto the body; leave a few millimeters.
3. Cut the heat-shrink tubing and fit it over the front of the Moonz barrel up to the small lip.
4. Add a short piece of Signo DX grip, then the e.ball grip.
5. Screw the old RSVP tip onto the RSVP front, followed by the HGG tip.
6. Leave the ink tube in place and add an insert.
