Timeless G3

Timeless G3 is a single-sided G3-based mod created by Timeless. The main version measures 19.5 cm and weighs 13.5 g; a slightly different variant is described below.

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G3 (barrel, cap and both rubber stoppers)
• 1 Pilot Frixion Colors cap
• 2 Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip tips
• 1 Zebra Hyper Jell grip
• 1 old-version Tsukineko Emboss Dual Pen large cap
• 1 Dong-A Anyball grip
• 1 Dong-A Comssa barrel
• 1 Crayola Supertip cap

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the G3, remove its grip and ink tube, and sand down the front. Cut the front of the barrel to 1.7 cm.
2. Hollow the large Emboss cap by pushing a chopstick into it. Remove the rubber nub from the Frixion cap and fit it into an HGG tip.
3. Cut 0.7 cm of Hyper Jell grip and two blocks of Anyball. Put the Anyball over the Hyper Jell, then fit this grip assembly into the Emboss cap with one Anyball block exposed.
4. Insert the HGG tip and Frixion-cap nub assembly into the Hyper Jell grip, with the nub facing out. Cut another 0.5 cm of Hyper Jell grip.
5. Cut the Supertip cap to 1.6 cm from its front and the G3 cap to 0.7 cm from its front. Put the Hyper Jell grip on the G3 front, then the Supertip cap; fit the cut G3 cap over the Supertip cap with an insert under it, and add the Emboss cap.
6. Cut the Comssa barrel to 4.3 cm from its tip end. Remove the plastic piece from the Frixion cap. Hollow a G3 rubber stopper with the back of a RSVP ink tube.
7. Cut five blocks of Anyball grip and place them on the Frixion cap. Insert an HGG tip into the Frixion cap, followed by the Comssa barrel, with the hollowed G3 stopper inside the HGG tip.
8. Tape the back of the G3, put an insert inside the barrel, and attach the assembled cap.

Alternate version

The alternate version uses a sanded Playcolor 2 barrel instead of the Supertip cap and four Anyball blocks at step 7. Its rear assembly order is HGG tip, Comssa barrel, then O-ring. It measures 20 cm and weighs 12.32 g.
