Single Grip Maniac Retract

Single Grip Maniac Retract is a retractable mod by NxxS. It measures 19.7 cm, weighs 15 g, and is moderately difficult to build.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Papermate Flexgrip Ultra (everything except the retractable mechanism)
• 1 Bic Atlantis 1.0 (all parts)
• 1 or 2 Bic Atlantis 1.2 grips; another thin grip may be used as a substitute
• Ink tube cut to 16.2cm

Tutorial

1. Remove the Flexgrip Ultra retractable mechanism, keeping the other parts. Using a non-retractable pen makes the mod longer.
2. Remove the grip from the Bic Atlantis 1.0. It can fit tightly, so work carefully.
3. If possible, warm the Atlantis 1.2 grip(s) in hot water and fit them at the front of the Flexgrip grip, or use another cut thin grip.
4. Fit the Atlantis 1.0 into the Flexgrip body and file it until it fits completely.
5. Decorate the push button with grip from the Atlantis 1.0 or 1.2, or another grip. Cut an ink tube to 16.2cm.
