Sibua G3 V1

Sibua G3 V1 is a G3 mod designed by Seoli (Frost). It is one of Seoli’s simpler personal G3 builds, measuring 19.4 cm and weighing 12–13 g.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 plastic Pilot G3 (body, tip, rubber stopper and grip)
• 1 Pilot Frixion Colors cap and rubber nub
• 3 Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip pens (three grips and two tips)
• 1 Ohto Metallic Gel tip
• 1 Uni-ball Signo tip
• 1 insert
• Tape

Tutorial

1. Empty the G3, remove its grip and sand the front of the barrel.
2. Stack the G3 tip, Metallic Gel tip, G3 rubber stopper and Signo tip in that order. Put a 1.5cm HGG grip piece over the front of the G3 and cover the tip stack with a full HGG grip.
3. Empty the Frixion cap but keep its rubber nub. Sand the side fin, fit the nub into one HGG tip, then stack the second HGG tip over it at the rear of the cap.
4. Cut the G3 grip lengthwise and place it inside the remaining HGG grip. Put this grip assembly into the Frixion cap.
5. Add an insert inside the G3 barrel and wrap a small strip of tape around the barrel, then connect the cap.
