Sakura’s Evolution

Sakura's Evolution is a modified Sakura Ballsign design by Hybrya. Its length is adjustable, with a 20 cm example weighing 15 g. The weight ranges from 14 to 16 g depending on the tips used.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Sakura Ballsign body
• 1 Pilot G2 back piece and grip
• 1 Impact RT grip and tip
• 1 Inkgel cap
• 1 Uni-ball Signo tip (lighter setup) or ColorGel tip (heavier setup)
• 1 HGG tip or a compatible substitute
• Paper and tape for the rear outsert

Tutorial

1. Cut a 4.3cm section from the threaded rear of the G2 and prepare it as an outsert. Cut the Impact RT grip and a 1.2cm section from the smooth end of the G2 grip, keeping its rear ring.
2. Empty the Sakura body and cut about 1cm from its rear. Fit two narrow G2 grip sections at the front.
3. Screw the prepared G2 section onto the front. Cover it with the cut Impact grip and fit the Impact tip into the 1.2cm G2 grip section, as on a Dr. KT-style assembly.
4. Add an insert inside the Sakura body. Fold a piece of paper double, tape it as an outsert, and fit it over the rear of the body.
5. Push a Signo tip (lighter setup) or ColorGel tip (heavier setup) into the bottom of the Inkgel cap. Fit grip over the cap and place it on the rear of the Sakura body.
