RSVP CX VX

The RSVP CX VX is DaftSystem’s double-sided RSVP CX variant, assembled by joining two shortened RSVP barrels. Its length can be adjusted from 18.5 to 22 cm, and it weighs 13–14 g. It is related to, but has a different construction from, RSVP CX.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2x Pentel RSVP (all parts)
• 2x HGG tips
• 1x Pilot G2 ink tube (about 2.5 cm)
• An insert

Text Tutorial

1. Cut each RSVP barrel about 1 cm beyond the “P” in the RSVP lettering, keeping the cuts square.
2. Trim both RSVP caps just behind their clips.
3. Cut a 2.5 cm section of G2 ink tube. Insert about half into one RSVP barrel, place the insert through the tube, then join the second barrel over the remaining section.
4. Fit HGG tips over the RSVP front tips as for an RSVP MX, then put the RSVP caps over the RSVP grips at both ends.
